
Solon leads inauguration of 5 Cavite infra projects

TANZA, Cavite -- Cavite 6th district Rep. Luis ‘Jon Jon’ Ferrer IV led the inauguration and blessing of five infrastracture projects in three consecutive days starting from Nov. 7 to 9, 2018 at Maximino V. Pangilinan Elementary School in Bgy. Santol.
Rep. Ferrer, together with Tanza Mayor Yuri Pacumio, Tanza School District Supervisor Dr. Edelisa Catacutan, Principal Adonna Rabago, Santol Bgy. Chairman Lailani Punzalan and town councilors, led the blessing of the newly-constructed four-storey, eight-classroom building of Maximino V. Pangilinan Elementary School (formerly Santol Elementary School) after brief ceremony in the said campus.
The congressman also promised to facilitate the request of the said school campus to erect another four-storey, 16-classroom building before his term ends as repressentative of District 6, composed of GenTri City, Trece Martires City, Tanza and Amadeo, on June 30, 2019.
The City of General Trias will be a lone district starting on July 1, 2019, with one representative to the House of Representative while Tanza will go to the 7th District.
Ferrer also inaugurated the Heart Foundation Village concreted basketball court in Bgy. Santol, together with Mayor Pacumio, ABC President SM Matro and Brother Derek Matro.
Last Wednesday, Rep. Ferrer, General Trias Mayor Antonio ‘Ony’ Ferrer, city councilors, Village Chief Efren Dinglasan and Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Cavite Director Oscar dela Cruz opened the newly-constructed P50-million, 42 meters long and seven meters wide cemented bridge that is expected to boost the local economy and serve as a safe, adequate and better road network to the people of Alingaro village and nearby communities formally opened to pedestrians and motorists Tuesday after the simple inauguration ceremony.
The new bridge will serve as a link to Banay Banay in Amadeo town and Trece Martires City, replacing the previous one-way steel bridge.
On Nov. 8, Ferrer and the Team GenTri inaugirated a four-storey, eight-classroom and two-storey, four-classroom Gen. Gregorio Alona Sr. Memorial Elementary school in upland Bgy. Biclatan, GenTri City.
