GAPAN CITY – Adell Roll Milan, the first alleged suspect wrongfully arrested by the police and subsequently released from detention after being cleared of any involvement in last year’s killing of slain Catholic prelate Fr. Richmond Nilo is now dead. He allegedly figured in an alleged clash with lawmen during an anti-drug operation here Thursday.
Police said Milan and his unidentified cohort chose to fight it out with anti-drug operatives who retaliated after they fired at them during a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Sto. Cristo Norte at 4 a.m.
Milan, of Bgy. Malapit, San Isidro and his accomplice may have sensed their drug buyers were real cops disguised as druggies so they resisted arrest resulting on the brief gunfight, said city police head Supt. Criselda Y. De Guzman.
Meanwhile, in another anti-drug operation, Chief Inspector Jeffrey Alivia, San Leonardo town police head identified the slain drug suspect as Rodel Sibayan, 45, construction worker, of Bgy. D. S. Garcia, Cabanatuan City.
He was neutralized after a buy-bust operation was set up against him on Nagaòo Street, Bgy. Mambangnan at 5:20 a.m. He yielded a cal. 38 revolver, a plastic sachet containing shabu and P500 in marked money bill.
