SAMAL, Bataan — A Thailand firm operating here Charoen Pokphand Food (CPF) Philippines has demonstrated once more its generosity and love for the Filipino after it donated again Tuesday relief goods and face masks.
CPF president Udomsak Aksornphakdee led all the way the delivery of the relief goods and masks from its company based in barangay Gugo this town, earning applause from Bataeños.
The relief goods--2,000 kilos of rice, 2,500 canned of sardines, 400 canned of corned beef and 1,000 pieces of face masks-- were received personally by Mayor Aida Macalinao.
The donation came at a time when the world is facing pandemic, killing tens of thousands of people and the hospitalization of hundreds of thousands.
In Bataan alone, three had been reported dead and more than 20 infected by the coronavirus.
This is not the first time CPF showed its camaraderie as it is also active in various civic activities here,like sponsoring medical and dental programs, donating medical equipment, participating in coastal clean up and tree planting, among others.
