MABALACAT, Pampanga – The realty company of former Congressman Rodolfo Valencia formally took over yesterday the Xevera township project here of Delfin Lee’s Globe Asiatique Realty.
In a press conference at the Xevera Mabalacat clubhouse, Valencia, chairman of Weschester Realty Corporation (WRC), announced that his company will start the rehabilitation and transformation of physical structures of the township in the coming weeks.
“Following the recent signing of the Deed of Conditional Sale between the Pag-Ibig Fund and our property development firm, WRC, we took no time in working out the details for the smooth transition as we brace for the immediate rehabilitation of Xevera projects formerly owned by Globe Asiatique,” he said.
Meanwhile, Lee explained that a resolution to the 10-year legal battle between Globe Asiatique and Pag-Ibig Fund was finally reached after the government agency awarded the rights to sell and market foreclosed units in Xevera Mabalacat, Xevera Bacolor and Sameera.
“The Duterte administration has made it a priority to legitimize and properly document the ownership titles of these housing units and that is the mandate being followed by Pag-Ibig Fund which has led to this agreement,” he said.
WRC has committed to release the titles of all fully paid buyers and advised those with overdue amortizations to settle their arrears, including surcharges and penalty in cash.
“The buyer may enter into a new purchase agreement with WRC subject to the selling price and terms of payment of WRC. WRC shall not credit equity payment made to Globe Asiatique by the buyers,” the company advised.
