Wanted Ilocos rapist falls

A MOST wanted rapist with a a P270,000 bail on his head was tracked down by agents of the Philippine National Police Intelligence Group at his hideout in Ilocos Sur on Saturday, PNP-IG director Brigadier General Edgar S. Monsalve reported yesterday.

Suspect Mark Miguel alias ”Baka” was arrested based on a warrant of arrest for rape issued on October 27, 2017 by Judge Gina Juan-Chan of the Candon City Regional Trial Court Branch 23.

Monsalve said that the Department of Interior and Local Government has offered a P270,000 for the capture of the suspect.

“This is part of our ongoing effort to account for most wanted persons in the country on orders of PNP chief, Director General Oscar D. Albayalde,” the PNP-IG director said of the capture of Miguel.
