AMID the ongoing Enhanced Community Quarantine in Western Mindanao, Zamboanga City policemen on Sunday arrested four drug trafficking personalities following two separate buy-bust operations which led in the confiscation of P30,000 worth of shabu, Police Regional Office 9 director, Brigadier General Froilan F. Quidilla announced yesterday.
Two of the suspects identified as Rex Tabao, a 33-year-old laborer and Salman Jalal,23, a fish vendor and both residents of Barangay Kasanyangan were arrested after they conspired to sell shabu to an undercover officer of the Zamboanga City Police Station 5 past 5 p.m. Sunday.
Quidilla said recovered from the duo were 10 heat-sealed plastic sachets containing the so-called ‘poor man’s cocaine’ valued at P20,000 and the marked money paid to them by a poseur.
The other two suspects identified as Wilson Parajado,26, a house painter and an 18-year old youth from Bgy. Canelar Moret were arrested for conspiring to sell P10,000 worth of shabu to an agent of the Zamboanga City Police Station 11 around 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
Quidilla said that the suspects yielded eight plastic sachets containing suspected shabu worth P10,000 and two marked P100 bills they received from the poseur.
