PH, WB ink $370-M loan to fast-track land titling

The government and the World Bank have signed a $370-million loan agreement for a project that aims to speed up the process of splitting about 1.4 million hectares of land covered by the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program and then providing individual titles to these parcelized lots to some 750,000 farmer-beneficiaries.

In a speech delivered during a webinar organized by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Barba said the Intellectual Property Rights Enforcement Office  recorded 67 reports and complaints on intellectual property rights violations from March to June, the first few months of the community quarantine period in the country.
