HERE'S another good way to encourage the kids to get involved in sports while staying safe and healthy at home during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Milo is bringing together another set of top athletes who can teach kids fun and energizing physical activities in its latest edition to the Milo Champion IG live on Wednesday, April 15 at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
National team members Juan and Javier Gomez de Liaño will show basic and fundamental basketball moves that kids can easily practice in the comfort of their home.
Running icon coach Rio de la Cruz will also go live on Instagram to lead simple and fun drills to stay in shape.
Each Milo Champion live session will be preceded by short training videos through the Milo Champion Minute, a 60-second session that will give viewers a brief demo of personal training practices.
In support of World Health Organization’s (WHO) global recommendation on physical activity for health, the Milo Champion IG Live and Minute are the brand’s latest initiative aimed to promote overall health and wellness of children.
WHO recommends that kids aged five and above should engage in physical activity for an accumulative 60 minutes every day to build their muscle strength, improve motor skills, and promote bone development.
Milo’s new online programs are designed to teach simple but effective sports drills that both kids and parents can enjoy.
Along these sports programs, kids can make their daily exercise more energizing with a cup of Milo that contains Champion Energy Nutrients containing PROTOMALT®, Iron, and Vitamins B2, B3, B6 and B12.
