Dragons strike twice

DILIMAN  Prerparatory School completed a double celebration by winning both their matches in the boys 17 years old and15 years old and under divisions in the 2018 Youth Basketball Cup  at the DPS covered courts in Commonwealth Ave.,Quezon City.

Gerry’s Grill Best Player of the Game awardee Kai Espinosa finished with 14 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal to power the DPS  to another impressive victory over LCCM in the 17-under category.

Castillo  and Ferrer paced LCCM with 17 and 14 points, respectively.

In the 15-under class,  Jethro Daet and Melvin Zablan  played well as  DPS  routed  Warriors, 82-64.

Daet had 12 points, seven rebounds, one assist,  one steal and one block, while Zablan had 12 points, four assists, one rebound and one  steal to power DPS to victory over Warriors.

The tournament is being organized  by coach Rensy  Bajar and supported by Diliman College, led by Sen. Nikki Coseteng, and Gerry’s Grill, headed by Jerome Ngo and Wilson Sia.
