MULTI-titled University of Perpetual Help Dalta System-Binan served notice of its ittle aspirations b blasting San Pedro College of Business Administration, 75-48, at the start of Philippine University Basketball League (PUBL)-Laguna Leg basketball championship at Umbria gym in Binan.
Four players, led by Sean Laban, scored in double figures for the Binan-City based Saints of manager Steve Salazar, coach Vic Escudero and assistant coach Merlin Custodio.
Laban topscored with 14 points for Perpetual Help, followed by Angelo Alanguilan with 13 points, Angelo Rosale with 12 and John Paulo Paras with 11.
Angelos Rosales carried the fight for the Richard Penaranda-coached Tigers with 15.
Basketball Association of the Philippines (BAP) Region 4 head Leonardo “Ding” Andres made the ceremonial toss.

The top team in the Laguna leg will join the top teams in three other legs in the semifinals with the champion earning the right to represent the country in 10th Asian University Basketball Championship on Nov. 18 in Sta, Rosa, Laguna. AA
