
Twinkill by Diliman Preparatory School in Youth Basketball Cup
DILIMAN Preparatory School hurdled two of its three assignments in the Youth Basketball Cup Next Level basketball tournament at the DPS gym in Quezon City.
DPS routed Perpetual Help, 96-53, with Gio Santos leading the way in the 19 years old and under class.
Santos, who was named as Gerry’s Gril “Best Player of the Game” awardee, finished with 33 points, eight rebounds, four steals, two assists and tewo blocks.
DPS also won over SPCC, 92-80, behind the 26-point, seven-rebound and four-assist output of JC Lopez in the 15 years old and under category.
In the 17-under bracket, SPCC got back at DPS, 111-106.
Ryan Ricasio shone brightest for SPCC with 32 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block.
The tournament is organized by the YBC, headed by coach Rensy Bajar, and sponsored by Grrry’s Grill, thru Jerome Ngo and Wilson Sia.
