THE  biggest names in cockfighting -- Charlie “Atong” Ang, Sonny Lagon, Gerry  Ramos, Gov. Eddiebong Plaza and  RJ Mea -- will again headline the “2019 World Pitmasters Cup 9-Cock International Derby” scheduled later this month.

Billed as the most-awaited cockfightting event this year,  the World Pitmasters Cup 9-Cock International Derby is set Jan. 17-26 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila.

A guaranteed prize of  P 15,000,000 and trophy awaits the winner of the big-time derby, which has  P88,000.00 pot money for a minimum bet of P 55,000.00.

The 2-cock eliminations will be held on Jan. 17 and 18,  followed by a one-day rest.

On Jan.  20,  it will be the “USA vs. Philippines 25-Cock Main & 6-Cock Big Event”. The coming Pacquiao-Broner title fight will also be promoted during the derby.

Meanwhile, the  3-Cock semis (Set A & B ) will be held on Jan.21 and 22 followed  by another one-day rest.

The  4 Cock Pre-Finals (3 & 3.5 points) are scheduled on  Jan. 24, while the much-awaited  4-Cock Grand Finals (4, 4.5 & 5 points) are set on Jan. 26.
