FIM-Asia to hold webinar on COVID-19

The Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM)-Asia, headed by Macky Carapiet, will hold a free webinar on the medical implications of  the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Friday, April 24.

Dubbed “Virus Crisis 2020 and its Medical Implications”, the webinar is open to all FIM members, including the Philippines.

The speaker of the webinar will be FIM Medical Commission Director Dr. Davis McManus.

"We're inviting all FIM-Asia members to participate in the webinar," said Carapiet, also the president of the National Motorcycle Sports and Safety Association ( NAMSSA).

Carapiet was re-elected to a new four-year term as FIM-Asia president during the general assembly held in Bangkok, Thailand last Feb. 20, 2018.

The well-known Filipino motorsports leader also expressed his heartfelt wishes for good health to all FIM Asia members and their families.

The webinar, which lasts for one hour, is scheduled at  6 p.m. Manila time  (+ 8 GMT).

The webinar will also be livestreamed to FIM Asia Facebook page.

FIM Asia is a member of the FIM,  the global governing/sanctioning body of motorcycle racing representing 111 national motorcycle federations.
