4 p.m. – PetroGazz vs Pocari Sweat-PAF
6 p.m. – Creamline vs Tacloban
BANKO-Perlas repeated over Adamson-Akari, 25-17, 25-17, 25-18, for its second straight win yesterday in the PVL Open Conference at the Filoil Flying V Centre.
Unlike in their four-set win last Oct. 6, the Perlas Spikers played much better this time to hand the Lady Falcons their ninth consecutive defeat.
With its seventh victory in nine contests, BanKo-Perlas dislodged idle Creamline (6-2) in second place.
Kathy Bersola showed the way for the Perlas Spikers with 13 points, Dzi Gervacio scattered 11 markers while birthday girl Nicole Tiamzon was the other player in twin digits with 10 hits.
Meanwhile, PetroGazz opened its second round campaign with a 25-21, 25-19, 25-17 romp of Iriga-Navy Saturday night.
Stephanie Mercado, turning back the hands of time, came through with 20 points, including three service aces, while Kai Nepomuceno-Baloaloa had four blocks for a 15-point effort for Angels.
Hardly missing a beat despite a three-week break, PetroGazz raised its record to 5-3, one-and-a-half game ahead of Pocari Sweat-Air Force in the race for the last semfinals berth.
Joanne Bunag paced the Lady Oragons with 18 points and 15 digs.
